Planetary landings remain the same: the squad walks around the cells, fights with the local fauna and carries out assignments, collecting loot along the way. Space lives its own life, and trade between systems brings income if you choose the right routes and monitor prices. Upgrading a ship, as before, takes half the time: the hull, engines, guns and shields are assembled to suit your style, be it a fast interceptor or a heavyweight that can take a punch. Dominators cannot be defeated without good equipment. Some of the tasks are directly related to the Dominators: their bases have to be opened by troops, and the trophies are used for research and new modules for the ship. There is also entertainment here: slot machines, galactic news and bets on fights. The price of equipment increases along with progress, so you almost always have to save money.
