Lord of the Rings: War in the North (2011)

Lord of the Rings: War in the North (2011) is an adventure role-playing game where you are invited to form your own Brotherhood and write your own story in the world of gnomes, humans, elves and orcs with the participation of new playable characters. Battles take place in real time. Orcs set up ambushes in the gorges. The game invites you to go on your own journey to Mordor together with the default game characters or with other players online in co-op mode. It is in the hands of the player to choose the side of Good and the storyline that leads to the dark lands in order to get rid of the One Ring, which has been hunted since ancient times. Or lead the troops of Sauron on the side of Evil in order to seize the Ring and power over Middle-earth at any cost. In the first case, the adventure consists mainly of quests, searches and explorations, in the second - in strengthening troops, weapons and attacks. Experience upgrades skill trees. The talking eagle Beleram will become a constant ally, ready to help with advice, go on reconnaissance of territories and even fight in a detachment, for example, against high-sitting archers who cannot be reached with blows and spells. Armor and weapons are divided by rarity. Trophies are earned, skills are gained, characters are improved, and paths run through stunning landscapes populated by both friendly races and dangerous creatures that you will have to fight against more than once. The northern lands keep ancient secrets. For those who want to return to Middle-earth, this game is suitable.
