Noita is a dark fantasy roguelike where the player becomes a sorcerer and goes on a long journey. There are almost no ready-made spells here: they have to be assembled from parts. The descent begins with an empty stick and a couple of components, and by the middle of the race you already have a real arsenal in your hands. You have to collect wisely, otherwise the spell will kill the sorcerer himself. A magic wand serves as a constructor: the order of the components determines whether the spell will be fast, powerful, or dangerous for the owner. An assembly mistake results in an explosion and this is considered part of the training. The world reacts to every action: spilled liquid flows down, fire spreads, and vaults collapse under the weight. Because of this, it is better to think through the route in advance. The world is generated procedurally and is completely subject to physics: materials burn, water flows, vaults collapse and poison spreads. Because of this, each descent looks different. Gold serves as currency, and altars provide new spells and items. In addition to the main descent, there are separate challenges and hidden areas. Sometimes a race ends in seconds due to one bad build, and this is considered normal. You can move between dimensions and areas, and secrets are hidden in the most unexpected places. Patches have brought new types of enchantments and enemies, and the community is exploring hidden endings. Updates have added new types of magic and enemies, and the most persistent players are looking for rare endings.
