OPUS: Prism Peak is a story about the exploration of a fading reality, where the lens of an old analog camera becomes the main tool for interacting with mystical space. The process of researching locations requires the correct focus, shutter speed and filter selection to create the perfect shot. The anime aesthetic permeates the melancholic expanses of the Shadowlands, completely devoid of human presence. This mountainous area is inhabited exclusively by animal-like spirits, including deer, wild boars, goats and unicorns. Ethereal beings gradually lose their own memories, dissolving in time. Capturing these creatures on film helps restore their lost essence. Such actions form an invisible spiritual connection that directly determines the upcoming events of the finale. Parallel to the peaceful atmosphere there is a constant feeling of anxiety. The heroes are constantly followed by an ominous massive creature, whose silhouette is painted in gloomy crimson and black tones. The plot centers on a forty-year-old cynical former photojournalist, Eugene, whose normal life was cut short after a car accident. The owner of a small cafe is transported to the realm of dreams, where he meets a cheerful girl, Ren. The young companion has absolutely no memory of her past, driven only by the instinctive desire to reach the top of the Twilight Mountain. Playing through OPUS: Prism Peak turns their journey together into a deep reflection on nostalgia, the bitterness of loss and fleeting beauty. The accumulated experience is carefully recorded on the pages of a special journal, which gradually forms a holistic picture of what is happening.
