PEAK puts players in the role of lost scouts on a lost island with one goal: rescue. Survival depends on conquering the mountain in the center of the island; This task can be completed alone or in a team of up to 4 people. The terrain changes with each new attempt, requiring climbers to adapt. Gamers can help each other climb ledges or place ropes and stone hooks to pave the way for the squad. The path to the top in PEAK runs through 4 different biomes, each of which creates special natural obstacles. To survive the ascent, the characters will have to obtain food by eating any of 30 types of food of questionable quality. This game requires you to keep a close eye on physical injuries, as each miss reduces your stamina. Lack of stamina directly affects the ability to climb further, turning every fall into a serious incident. In the process, you can find various equipment, including energy drinks for a temporary boost of energy and stone pitons for creating new routes. Heroes may also discover more unusual tools, such as an item called Anti-Rope. Successful navigation and survival actions unlock dozens of badges and cosmetic items for external character customization. The project supports co-op play mode by invitation or offers a single playthrough for new experiences.
