Returnal

Returnal is a fantastic third-person roguelike action game. Scout Selena Vassos, working for the ASTRA organization, follows the mysterious signal "White Shadow" and crashes on the changing planet Atropos. While exploring alien jungles and ruins, the heroine stumbles upon her own dead double and realizes: she is stuck in a time loop - each death returns her to the point of her fall. The combat is built in the spirit of bullet-hell: waves of hostile creatures flood the screen with projectiles, and survive due to dashes, accuracy and the ability to read patterns. Levels are procedurally reassembled: the layout, loot, and enemies change with each cycle. Selena goes out - some of the finds are lost, but some of the artifacts and knowledge are preserved between attempts, gradually bringing the solution to the planet closer.
