Rust

Rust is a multiplayer first-person survival simulator, where salvation from civilization turns into a fight against civilization itself. The hero lands on the island naked and with a stone in his hand: then - getting food, the first fire, more or less honest weapons and a roof over his head. You can start by hunting for crab near the shore, or you can immediately go into the forest for more serious prey. In the new versions, large cities have grown on the map, but players traditionally care little about the moral torment that the developers built into the updates. You have to survive in a world where the main threat is other people, so half the success lies in the ability to avoid being seen. Crafting here is total: from primitive pickaxes and boards for walls to automation and electric stoves, which you still have to live to see. The tree is chopped with an ax, the meat is fried over a fire, and the real hunt for strangers begins with the onset of darkness and with a good rifle at the ready. At maximum settings, the game looks deceptively peaceful: reflections on the water and honest shadows of the trees hint that you can just live here. There is no plot in Rust - it is written by the players themselves. The server is single, but divided into dozens of locations and time zones of activity, so you don’t have to intersect with your neighbors for weeks. The most trusted acquaintances sooner or later unite into a clan: a common base, common supplies and attempts to capture someone else’s city or defend their settlement.
