Tales of Berseria

Tales of Berseria is modern and one of the good representatives of the Japanese role-playing game genre known as JRPG. All the traditional attributes of the genre await you: memorable characters with whom you fall in love at the first meeting, a charismatic main character (in this case, the heroine), an interesting and thoughtful plot, a huge number of abilities, as well as a visual style that is a direct reference to Japanese animation. The plot introduces us to a heroine named Velvet, who in the past experienced a serious shock that changed her life forever. If before the girl was generous and kind, now the fire of hatred burns in her heart. Even three years after the terrible events, she was unable to recover from the terrible tragedy. In order to somehow distract herself and find herself again, Velvet decides to join a group of pirate travelers and go with them on incredible adventures, plow the seas and oceans, and explore the islands of the sacred kingdom of Midgand. Despite Tales of Berseria belonging to the JRPG genre, the battles in the game do not take place in a turn-based style, but in real time, making what is happening on the screen more reminiscent of an action slasher film. Directly during the battle, you can control only one hero, but during the battle you can switch between characters to use his skills, which, by the way, are different for all heroes.
