Total War: SHOGUN 2

Total War: SHOGUN 2 is a continuation of the first part of the in-game series, dedicated to internal wars on the Japanese islands during the times of feudalism and the fragmentation of the state into various clans. The Creative Assembly studio worked on this project, and SEGA handled publishing issues. The release took place in March 2011. The time frame covers the period of the sixteenth century - a time of fierce battles between Japanese rulers. The situation was aggravated by the penetration of aliens from the Western world, who began to have a special influence on the measured course of life. The gameplay, by and large, remains the same, but naturally develops on the basis of previous games. Before us is a large-scale tactical strategy, where we have to deal with development, religious issues, trade and other important matters within the state. The emphasis, of course, is on battles taking place in real time. Up to 6 thousand units from each of the warring parties can take part. Fights take place both on land and on water. Three of the four Japanese islands: Hoshu, Kyushu and Hikoku, between which the player will have to transport his troops on special ships, which, in the event of an attack by enemy warships, will probably sink along with the huge number of soldiers on them, so the crossing is one of the most dangerous undertakings. Impressive, colossal-scale battles are unlikely to leave you indifferent. The authentic Japanese atmosphere takes us to another world and another era, very vaguely familiar to us Westerners. For this reason, this game is of great interest to both lovers of good strategy games and history buffs.
