The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings is an expanded limited edition of the impressive sequel to the 2008 giant of the world of role-playing video games, The Witcher. The development of this project was carried out by the famous studio CD PROJEKT RED. The announcement appeared in May 2011. Geralt of Rivia is the greatest of the witchers, better than others with a sword, almost the only one who can resist the forces of darkness, while being something between an ordinary person and a monster. He travels the world and makes a living by exterminating monsters. But sometimes he has to solve other problems. This time our hero in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will have to find and deal with a guild of professional assassins. As the game progresses, Geralt will meet his own kind more than once. Witchers are much stronger than any ordinary warrior, so battles with half-bloods will be very cruel and spectacular. Note that small obstacles in the form of fences and small barriers are no longer something incomprehensible to Geralt. Along with the changed combat, the developers added the ability to overcome fences. Of course, you won’t be able to do without crowning battles with all sorts of monsters, of which there are traditionally a lot here. Spectacular battle scenes and a well-thought-out combat system, which is a mixture of active movement, fencing with a one-and-a-half-handed sword and inserts of combat magic spells, make the right impression. There is probably no better combat in the RPG world anywhere else. In Arena mode, you can fight a variety of enemies coming from different corners and crevices. After this, you will go on an adventure where the developers, through the storyline, will introduce you to Geralt's worldview. Don't forget about the "Dark" mode. It is prepared for experienced players and includes many items that are only available in battle with the strongest opponents in the series. The second part of the famous series remained the most unnoticed, compared to the first and third parts. The thing is that in the same 2011, the more famous and popular TES: Skyrim was released. However, critics and gamers rated The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings very highly and it is rightfully considered one of the best games in this genre.
