Властелин колец: Война кольца (игра)

Властелин колец: Война кольца (игра) is a real-time strategy game that completely immerses you in the Tolkien universe. The player is engaged in creating a base, forming an army and fighting the enemy. Resources - ore and food - are spent on research and construction. Artifact statues play a special role: they give the character properties such as health reserves and are considered places of power. For destroying enemies and finding artifacts, you are awarded power points needed for magic. There are plenty of ways to fight. The campaign follows missions from the book that were not included in the film. The battle takes place against the computer and is divided into several options. In "Survival" you need to destroy all enemy military units. “Destruction” aims to demolish enemy structures, and “Hunger” gives out a lot of resources, but they are hidden on the map. “Control” requires you to hold power points for as long as possible, and in “Catapult” a weapon appears on the field that needs to be captured. The network repeats the same modes. Armies have health, equipment, damage and weapons. Weapons are divided into heroic, spear, blunt and cutting. Light and Darkness differ in magic, units and buildings. The Campaign for the Light describes the period of the War of the Ring, when heroes oppose Sauron and his supporters, including the Balrog. Among the participants are the guardian Frodo, Gimli, who excels in storming bases, Aragorn, effective in both defense and attack, Legolas with ranged combat and Gandalf with magical skills. The Campaign for Darkness turns out to be a prequel: Sauron recovers from his defeat at the end of the second age. Here we meet Gollum, subject to the Ring, the Nazgul King with black magic, the hunter Salim Ka Mara with throwing blades, Grishnak at the head of the orcs and Saruman defending the camp. For those who want to see the wars of Middle-earth with their own eyes, this game is suitable.
