Dead Space 2

In this installment, Isaac Clarke is still in space and fighting off aliens in a first-person shooter. In Dead Space 2 there is noticeably more meat, blood, nudity, fear and horror, and severed body parts are already the general flora of the base. “Planetary Ripper”, the space base from the first part, became a completed task for Isaac. He destroyed an artifact that turns everyone around into necromorphs. But the main character wakes up three years later in an incomprehensible place and sees that nothing around has changed, because the artifact was transferred to Titan, a satellite of Saturn. The main character does not remember anything that has happened to him over the past three years. A progressive mental disorder causes him to constantly be nervous, change his mood and see his dead girlfriend Nicole. Although his fighting skills have sharpened. Third-person shooter DP2 is the tragic story of an engineer who saved the nation but was not rewarded. At the beginning of the story, he wakes up in a mental hospital after being found adrift on the Ishemura space station. As soon as doctors diagnosed a serious brain disease, he was suspended from work, although he was not given a “signature prohibiting spacewalk.” Isaac wandered around the hospital in search of his girlfriend, but he was stopped by a crazy hero who went through half of the tests with him. He claims that together they can destroy the obelisk that is currently being healed on Titan. In the new part, the gameplay has remained virtually unchanged, but the main character’s attitude towards objects on the map has noticeably changed. Now he can break glass, move objects, move boxes for his needs. Necromorphs can now be thrown into outer space if the room is depressurized in time (the red button is always visible for this). The character can now fly as the suit has been modified. Also, the hero himself now constantly enters into dialogues and actively swears at what is happening. However, after chapter 6 (there are 15 in total) there is simply no one to talk to.
