God of War 2

God of War 2 is an adventure game set in Ancient Greece. Control takes place for the legendary god of war named Kratos, who, having killed Ares, takes his place among the deities. But suddenly the main character is betrayed by Zeus, deprived of his abilities and thrown half-dead into the Underworld. But fortunately, Gaia rescues the hero from there and gives him the goal of finding the Sisters of Fate in order to return to the past and kill the king of the Olympians. The gameplay follows the best traditions of this series, combining exciting combat with mythological ancient Greek creatures. Of these, the following creatures can be noted: minotaurs, harpies, gorgons, cyclops, Cerberus and even griffins. First of all, you will be taught how to control the main weapon - the blades of Athena. With their help, you can create truly dynamic moments in which you need to use a large number of different techniques, combos and special abilities. There are also Quick Time Events, especially evident in battles with monumental bosses. In addition, the main character can pick up auxiliary items in various locations and use magical attacks to kill certain types of enemies. And from time to time there will be some unusual puzzles based on platforming elements and corresponding to some objects in the levels. In God of War 2, there are many chests with health, stamina and skill upgrades located throughout all 26 levels. But they are hidden in locations, and therefore you need to clear every corner, or climb and jump over ledges to find hidden secrets. And in the second half of the story, special “gadgets” will become available to open previously inaccessible places, such as the flying Pegasus and the wings of Icarus.
