The Hitman: Blood Money is part of a hitman series that has cemented itself as a classic. Agent 47 takes on orders all over the world and gets paid for the work done. Each task begins with a study of the location and security schedule. Preparation matters more than reaction speed. Missions take place in different countries: from the suburbs to a closed club. Contracts describe the goal and suggest a method of approach. The fee can be spent on equipment or upgrades, making preparation part of the plan. The levels are set up like sandboxes, with guards patrolling on a schedule. Money for contracts is used to improve the arsenal and for bribes. Money can be invested in improving weapons or immunity. Weapons and suits are hidden in a suitcase and assembled on site. In addition to camouflage, the hero can climb pipes and cornices, and the camera can be switched to first-person view. Murders are presented as accidents if done correctly. Disguise and master keys open the way inside, and weapons can be hidden for a while. The corpse can be hidden in a box or thrown into the water. Newspapers evaluate both murder and reputation. The weapon is hidden in a suitcase. The bodies have to be hidden, otherwise anxiety will ruin the plan. Some publications added challenges and modes.
