Throughout the entire passage, the player needs to reunite with other races and peoples inhabiting the galaxy, and also look for the missing information and drawings of the Gorn in order to act jointly against the invaders in the finale. There are 8 versions of the game ending available. The choice of each depends on the actions during the transition, the readiness of the fleet and whether Admiral Andersen will survive. The gameplay is reminiscent of the previous parts of the series - Shepard is transported from planet to planet on the Normandy and, carrying out various assignments and tasks, gathers other races around him. There were changes in the captain's composition, and in addition to the remaining Garus, Liara and Tali, Edie, who received a new body, and James Vega, a character previously unknown to the player, joined the squad; The DLC also includes another NPC, Javik, with whom the game quest is associated. You will have to fight with 2 types of enemies, divided into classes. Cerberus soldiers are divided into soldiers, stormtroopers, engineers, snipers, ninjas and mechs, while Reaper soldiers are divided into several types of turians, Asari, Rachni and a flying creature from Tuchanka. The developers have added several types of weapons that can be equipped with no more than two upgrades. The creators also introduced a limit on the weight of the hero’s equipment. Now, if you have an advantage, skills will recover more slowly. The gameplay became more like a third-person shooter with rolling from one cover to another. There are fewer RPG elements - the hunt for resources and various puzzles have disappeared. However, the system of distributing game experience according to character skills remains the same. During the game, the skill set can be changed 3 times. The creators of the series also introduced a multiplayer mode for 4 players into the project. There is access to choosing classes, leveling up characters and purchasing equipment. The tasks in small locations are of the same type, and battles take place in the form of successively advancing waves of the enemy. The technical part of Mass Effect 3 has not changed much. The engine has been optimized and new filters have been added, but upon closer inspection there are still noticeable shortcomings in the detailing of the environment and the elaboration of textures. Voice acting is still done by professionals, and the musical accompaniment is relegated to the background.
