Metal Gear Solid

Metal Gear Solid is a stealth action game from famous game designer Hideo Kojima. This is the fourth game in the series and the first part developed in full 3D. The plot and cutscenes are dramatic and cinematic. The main character of the game is Solid Snake, who arrives at the secret base of Shadow Moses, located on the territory of the Fox Archipelago. The agent's task is to rescue the hostages and prevent FOXHOUND's nuclear strike with the help of Metal Gear Rex. The hero is able to lean against walls and knock on them, look around corners, crawl through ventilation and try in every possible way to avoid a direct collision with the enemy. When detected, an alarm goes off and enemies begin to actively attack Snake. The main character has CQC (hand-to-hand combat) skills and can use various weapons: SOCOM pistol, PSG-1 rifle, Stinger missile launcher and C-4 explosive. The inventory contains a huge number of auxiliary items: rations to replenish health, a cigarette that allows you to see infrared rays, a night vision device and a box in which you can hide. At any time, Snake can contact support via the codec: Mei Lin, Colonel Campbell, Kazuhira Miller and Naomi Hunter. Metal Gear Solid bosses and characters: • Liquid Snake is Solid's clone brother and the main antagonist; • Decoy Octopus – master of disguise; • Revolver Ocelot – interrogation specialist and marksman; • Psycho Mantis - a villain with telepathy; • Vulcan Raven – a major shaman; • Sniper Wolf is a woman who deftly controls a rifle; • Meryl Silverburgh – daughter of Colonel Campbell; • Hal Emmerich - aka Otacon and creator of Metal Gear Rex; • Cyborg ninja - unknown, not fighting on anyone's side. Among the minor characters you will meet Donald Anderson - the head of the DARPA organization, Kenneth Baker - the head of Armstech, Jim Houseman - the head of Operation Shadow Moses and Johnny Sasaki - a soldier suffering from diarrhea. After the end credits, a dialogue follows between US leader Solidus Snake and Ocelot, who explain the true meaning of the military campaign on Shadow Moses.
