Outer Wilds

Outer Wilds is a first-person adventure game based on the popular Groundhog Day theme. The events take place on the fictional planet Kamelok, which was destroyed by a star explosion 22 minutes into the game. But the story is just beginning. The user finds himself in a “time loop”, which allows him to gradually develop the plot, travel around the planetary system and meet new characters. After a “reboot” of life, all accumulated information remains available. The main character of the adventure is an explorer who belongs to a local humanoid alien race. After the events described above, he decides to unravel the mystery of the destruction of the star and the reason for the extinction of the mysterious Nomai race. Outer Wilds forces gamers to choose their own path, explore locations and make difficult decisions. During the passage, the character can move, interact with objects and other aliens. Some areas of the location become accessible only after solving puzzles, selecting codes, or collecting necessary items. It is very important to monitor the hero’s vital signs, because he may die even before the “restart” from lack of air or injury. The gamer's journey is accompanied by a unique soundtrack for each location and an addictive, mysterious atmosphere.
