Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is a third-person sandbox game that incorporates many elements from other genres: action, adventure RPGs, beat-em-ups, and even racing simulators. The mechanics of police chases in the plot are taken from there. There are also many side quests for racing motorcycles and cars. The game will show the criminal side of the large metropolis of Hong Kong. The main character of the story campaign will be Wei Shen, an undercover police officer. He has many talents that will help in many situations: he is a master of small arms, driving vehicles and an experienced hand-to-hand fighter. His task is to infiltrate a crime syndicate by winning the trust of his childhood friend Jackie Ma. It will lead to the leader of Water Streets - Winston Chu. This group is part of the Soon-On-I gangster circle, which must be exposed and handed over to the police. Enemies will attack both melee and ranged. Fisticuffs are fought using simple combo attacks, grapples, and special finishes using the environment. The opponents will be members of the hostile Water Street gang - Dog Eyes. By destroying the Dog Eye bandits during missions, Wei will gain authority in criminal circles, simultaneously passing on all the information he has accumulated to a police officer named Jane Tan. Outside of story missions, the gamer is given complete freedom; he can perform additional tasks for the police, participate in illegal battles and races, buy and change clothes and pray at altars to increase the health of the main character.
