Thief

Thief is the fourth part of the first-person stealth action game. This project was a reboot of the entire universe, which means a new beginning, using old lore, for example, the use of the pagan god Trickster (Tempter) in the plot, the presence of cathedrals and churches as monuments of art in memory of the factions shown in the previous parts of the series, and which have long since lost their power in the new game due to the time frame being moved forward a couple of centuries. The main character once again becomes Garrett, who masterfully masters the art of theft. He has an assistant, Erin, who participates in the twists and turns of the plot. The events take place in a fictional city whose style resembles a mixture of steampunk and Victorian era. The head of this settlement is Baron Northcrest, who only wants to organize a real technological revolution in his territories. The main antagonist was the leader of one of the two factions into which society is divided, or rather the “Enlightened Ones” - Orion. The second group is called "Guard". Their confrontations and Garrett’s participation in them will be at the center of the plot throughout the entire prologue and 8 chapters of “The Thief”. The gameplay is as varied as possible thanks to advanced artificial intelligence, which knows the area well and easily changes its usual route to catch the main character. The levels are non-linear, the gamer needs to choose the path to follow to the goal on the map. Primary energy will also play an important role in the gameplay, giving people superpowers at the cost of losing their humanity and clouding their minds.
