Age of Mythology: Extended Edition

Age of Mythology: Extended Edition is an excellent real-time strategy game from the creators of the Age of Empires line of games. This time, the choice of developers from Ensemble Studios fell on the mythological motifs of various peoples who inhabited Ancient Europe: Greece, Scandinavia, Egypt and others. The game started in 2002. An updated edition was published in 2014 with the help of SkyBox Labs. Visually, the game is not much different from the games in the Age of Empires series, the only difference being that this time the graphics (compared to previous games) are better due to three-dimensionality and good special effects. Moreover, the game has a powerful editor that allows you to generate various cards, events and much more. There are several races in the game: Germanic, ancient Greek, Egyptian and the endangered Atlantean race. Each faction has its own specific units, both basic ones, which differ between nations only formally, and unique ones - mythical creatures. The crowning glory of the mythical monster here is the titan - a huge squad, the number of hit points of which is 7-10 thousand units (for ordinary warriors, for example, it is equal to values ​​from 50 to 100 units). The most powerful of the Titans, Kronos, has an even more enviable scale of life. To resist an enemy titan, you need your own titan, and for this, civilization must enter a special era. Of course, you can defeat a titan with the help of ordinary warriors, but this will require a colossal number of them. Good damage to titans is done by weapons designed to destroy fortresses and buildings. Confrontations take place both on land and on water and even in the air. The game has a storyline where the player will have to go through the campaign for each of the nations in turn. There is also multiplayer where you can compete with other players.
