Bright Lights of Svetlov

Bright Lights of Svetlov is a first-person quest and walking simulator. Compared to other representatives of these genres, the indie project stands out with its Soviet flavor. The game invites you to visit Svetlov, a fictional provincial town. It gives a glimpse into the life of a simple family. "Bright Lights of Svetlov" takes users back to the mid-1980s. The main emphasis in the gameplay is on storytelling and immersion in the atmosphere of those years. The user finds himself in a family that lives in an apartment in a multi-storey panel building. At first, the user is immersed in a routine, but then he sees the difficulties that people face. The hero comments on his thoughts and actions out loud, sometimes giving the player hints. When interacting with the environment, he also makes comments. There is voice acting. In the game you can pick up letters from a mailbox, ride an elevator, throw the contents of a bucket into a garbage chute, watch TV (shows a real program from the times of the USSR), press doorbells, turn on and off taps or lights. There is an opportunity to read newspapers and letters. A list of tasks is displayed on the screen. The story shown in the project is based on real events. The story has one ending. This is a small and linear title. It may take one and a half to two hours to complete.
