CLANNAD - Tomoya Okasaki begins a new school year and on the way to school he meets Nagisa Furukawa, who seems to live in her own world. It gradually turns out that the girl is trying to gather people for the school club, and he becomes involved in this matter. Relationships with the heroines are revealed gradually, and some scenes are available only after certain events. Some of the scenes are dedicated to school everyday life, and the characters of the secondary characters are revealed in them. This is a big visual novel: dialogues, illustrations and choices that change the relationship with the heroines. Each line opens gradually, and some scenes are only available after a certain sequence of actions. The main line is long, so some of the side scenes are revealed only when you play through it again. Music and voice acting work on the mood: calm themes are replaced by heavy ones. The story is built around everyday things: school, family, club and conversations in the corridors. Behind this everyday routine, more serious themes gradually emerge, and the ending turns out to be much more difficult than you expect from the first chapters. Small stories happen at school and at home that add up to the big picture. In addition to the main line, there are several endings and additional episodes where minor characters are revealed. The passage takes many hours, and there is no need to rush things here. Additional episodes show what the characters did away from the main story. It is almost impossible to complete all the lines in one playthrough, so the story takes time. For those who are ready for a long school story and are not afraid of difficult turns.
